I love to ride bikes.  I mean I really really love to ride bikes.  My friends think I'm crazy, but I average about 50 miles a week on my badass cycle.  Here's a picture of my friend Neil and I as we take the Tide back from an epic ride from ODU to Newtown Road.

Does anybody else miss the duck?  Already I've heard that people swam in the Hague with the duck, and that seems a bit disgusting.

This summer has been pretty wild so far.  Already went to a Tide's game this weekend, and as you can see RipTide put me in a pretty severy headlock

Miles To Go Before I Sleep

So this was a great weekend...

I went to the beach and had a mysterious drink.

I then visited my buddy Neil, whose brewery Young Veterans Brewing Company opened its doors to the public!

I also stuffed my face at Doumar's and gained a lot of weight off that meal.

But, I made up for it with a ten mile walk yesterday.

She Put A Ring On It!

On July 19th my fiancee and I decided to elope!  I am now a husband, which means I have to eat healthier, exercise more, and take vitamins.  The chore list is pretty extensive as well.  What the hell did I get myself into?

The Walking Dead!

On February 10th the 2nd half of the third season of The Walking Dead airs!  I'm getting pumped!

That's So Raven

So after a couple months of searching and preparing I now have a doggy!  Her name is Raven and I'm calling her my black bitch.  So far she can sit, but soon I will have her trained for the Westminster Dog Show!

Other than that life has been pretty crazy.  Last semester was rough, but it has been finished, and I am looking forward to a great summer semester!

Dogs Rule And Cats Are Stupid

I keep daydreaming about getting a puppy.  This daydream has been constant since I was a boy, but it has intensified in recent months.  When I was a boy we had a big yellow lab named Nick, and he was awesome.  But, then something happened, my mother said Nick was a bad dog and got rid of him. 

I've been allergic to cats my entire life.  My allergy is so severe that within 2 minutes inside a cat-owner's house I have to leave.  My face swells up, my sinuses run, my eyes get puffy, and my whole face itches.  I recently found out that I am not allergic to the hair, but the saliva of cats.  Since cats love to lick themselves, their hair causes my mutation into a mess of a man.

Now that I have a new place with the wifey (I'll drop that "y" soon), we have been talking about getting a dog.  This idea is super fantastic!  We even checked out a shelter before Christmas (she cried the whole time), to find out the process. Unfortunately we said we'd wait until after the holidays because of our travel plans, but now it is a question of money.  I imagine that I will have to survive another 4-6 weeks without my future best friend (FBF).

As I gather finances for my FBF, I have been keeping an eye on the local shelters to see who I might choose.

I've never had a dog not like me.  Random dogs will sprint away from their owners in a heartbeat just to say hello, and all of the dogs owned by my friends remember me upon each visit.  I get dogs, I understand them, they never bark at me, and soon I will own one.

Back To Work

Well after spending countless hours playing Star Wars: The Old Republic and watching/reading The Walking Dead, it looks like it is time to prepare for a new semester.  Hope this semester is full of intelligent discourse, and steps forward.  Making moves!
